Analysis of Toluene: Removal of toluene from the air s tream using a bed made of metal-organic frameworks adsorbent

Toluene is one of the most dangerous and, simultaneously, consumed substances in various factories. strongly affects central nervous system. The numerous side effects caused by exposure to toluene indicate removal vapours from air workplace. This study aims use using a Fe-MOFs metal-organic substrate for first time world and investigate efficient methods increase efficiency removing air. experimental was carried out on laboratory scale. After iron framework (Fe-MOFs) synthesized, components affecting adsorption rate, such as reaction (5-20 min), initial concentration (100-400 mg L-1), adsorbent amount, temperature (25-80oC) were analyzed optimized. Then, determined gas chromatography device. absorption capacity obtained desired adsorbent, 337.2 g-1. Also, effect different parameters investigated maximum (300 (75oC), contact (160s) 340 g-1, 331 325 respectively.
